What we install: ADS 4-inch corrugated pipe — perforated with a sock for the French drain run, solid for downspout and carry lines — plus the tees, elbows and cleanouts that let the system be flushed.
ADS pipe is the part of the system nobody sees. The French drain run gets perforated corrugated pipe in a filter sock, laid on washed gravel inside filter fabric so the sand above the hardpan stays out of it. Downspout and carry lines get solid pipe, because their job is to move roof water away from the foundation, not let it soak in beside it. Every turn gets a cleanout, so oak leaves and roof grit can be flushed out with a hose instead of digging up the lawn.
