Gutter repair in Jacksonville
Leaking seams and end caps, sagging runs, loose or crushed downspouts, fascia behind the overflow and buried lines that back up — repaired, or replaced with seamless where repair stops making sense.
Free yard inspection within 48 hours · written price before we dig
Most gutter problems in Jacksonville show up in the first big storm of the summer: a seam that drips, a run that sags and spills at the low point, a downspout that has come loose at the elbow or a buried line that no longer takes water. Gutter repair is often the cheaper answer, and sometimes a new seamless run is. We look at the whole roof edge and the downspout lines, tell you which applies to each part, and price repairs on the inspection.
Signs you need it
- drips at the seams or the end caps
- a run that sags and spills at the low point
- downspout loose at the elbow or crushed at the bottom
- gutter pulling away from the fascia
- stain line or soft wood on the fascia
- water backing up where the downspout goes underground
What we find — and what we do about it
Leaking seams and end caps
Sectional gutters leak where pieces join. Joints are resealed, or the run is replaced with seamless.
Sagging runs
Loose or rusted hangers let the gutter drop, so water pools and spills at the low point. Re-hung with the slope reset to the outlet.
Loose or crushed downspouts
Elbows knocked loose, straps gone, a crushed section at the bottom. Reattached or replaced.
Fascia damage behind the gutter
Years of overflow stain and soften the fascia. It is repaired before the gutter goes back up.
Buried lines that back up
Roots and grit close old underground lines. We find, test and replace them with cleanouts.

Gutter Repair FAQ
Can you repair gutters that leak?
Usually. Leaks at seams and end caps are resealed, and loose outlets are refastened. If a sectional run leaks at many joints, a seamless run at $6 to $12 per foot is often the better spend — we tell you which.
Gutter and fascia repair together?
Yes. Where overflow has damaged the fascia, it is repaired before the gutter is re-hung, and both are on one written estimate.
How much does it cost to repair a downspout?
It depends on the failure — a loose elbow, a crushed section or a buried line closed by roots — so repairs are priced on the inspection. Replacing an underground line to a legal outlet runs $300 to $800 per point.
Should I repair or replace my gutters?
Repair when the problem is a few joints, hangers or a downspout. Replace when the run leaks at many seams, has pulled away along its length or is too small for the roof. Seamless replacement is $6 to $12 per foot.
Why is my underground downspout leaking at the top?
The buried line is blocked or crushed, so water backs up and spills at the connection. We flush it through the cleanout, or replace the section that roots have closed.
